Davidson and Farrier Family Histories

This is a site for us to upload family histories and pictures of our Davidson and Farrier family ancestors. I have not written most of the histories, although I have put together the timelines. The histories have been gathered from various sources, so I can't vouch for the accuracy of their information.

If you recognize any of these people and have information to add or correct, please post a comment, including your email address if you wish, so we can be in touch. I would love to connect with other descendants of these family members.

Hi I'm looking to see if there is any proof of Jewish ancestry in this family. Just came up today while I was doing some research on a census record and a person that was helping me decipher where the parents were from also mentioned that a son got an award from a Jewish organization so it kind of peaked my interest.

This family is in my daughters mother's side and they have had a lot of medical issues cancer and other things and I was wondering if it could be from this family and since this has come up it might really be a good thing to know.

Here's a quick ancestry to my daughter:

Vil Vohnoutka - Jozef Vohnoutka b. 1839 - Josephine Mary Vohnoutka b. 1880 - Mildred Francis Howard b. 1904 - Edith Jones b. 1929 - Laurel Jean Whippie - and my daughter Melaine Jean Cutter

My email address is dcutter1@gmail.com

I wouldn't mind a better picture of Jozef Vohnoutka and the tombstone if you have it.

I tried to get my daughter to do DNA but she just couldn't seem to do it so if anyone else in this family has I'm just what showed up as ancestry in this regard. Could just be a red herring but who knows till someone takes a DNA test.
